Currently, my company uses Slack for internal communications and a Shared Channel in Slack for each Branch's pipeline. Other companies use Asana, G Chat, or similar tools. If LendingWise had an internal chat capability similar to Google Chat or Slack, then this would achieve a few benefits:
(1) increase efficiency by decreasing friction across multiple platforms;
(2) streamline communications, thus increasing overall workflow speed;
(3) reduce email volume with brokers / referral partners - a "channel" hosting all chat messages can be auto created upon creation of a new broker, or make than an option to select / deselect when creating the broker;
(4) achieve the security of encrypted communications without the need for emails that require multi-factor authentication to read each one (I know we all hate that);
(5) improve customer service - (a) give borrowers and brokers a reason to log in (re: faster to communicate is with us via chat), (b) dramatically improve response time;
(6) enable users to ask if a document is acceptable by sharing via chat, rather than uploading and downloading - if a doc is unacceptable, we don't need it in the system (but no one wants to delete what is already uploaded, whether for compliance or other company specific reasons);
(7) edge over competition - to my knowledge, no other SaaS model LOS offers the feature we are discussing here.
