We are building an automation feature that creates tasks/reminders, E-mails or Webhooks based on Status, sub status or work flow step changes. This will allow you to create smart drip campaigns, integrate with 3rd party systems, & numerous other use cases.

If I change sub status from "appraisal ordered" to "appraisal received", will this feature (i) auto send a custom email template to the borrower/broker, (ii) or trigger a pop up box that gives me the option to notify a loan contact of the status change with one of the available custom email templates?

This is a very important capability that is current absent from LW. Changing the status, then manually sending an email template takes way too much time at scale.

Will the change of status or sub status give back office users the ability to customize the subject line and content of the notification email's subject? Currently, when I update status or sub status, no one knows. Currently, when I mark a document incomplete and notify others, the subject line of the email is generic every time. This causes the recipient(s) to ignore the notification emails very quickly, defeating the purpose of commenting at all.

To echo Aaron Krauts problem, it would be AWESOME if the "trigger" for each workflow would be activated once the checkbox is marked. As of right now the Check box has to eb marked, then you have to open the workflow step and actually mark the workflow as complete for any emails to be sent. This is just as time consuming as sending an email and picking one of the custom templates.
